I am a mature student, who embarked on a Foundation Degree in Digital Photography.  I am studying  the degree part time under the University of South Wales.  The first three years I will attend Coleg Y Cymoedd, Nantgarw.   I have had a passion for photography since my teenage years, when observing my Grandfather and his love for his Pentax ME Super 35mm Film camera.

I did a brief 'Introduction to Black & White Film Photography' in 2002 at The Chapter Arts College in Llandaff , Cardiff.

I am a part time carer to my mum, who has recently been diagnosed with Altzheimer's .  I practise Photography because it helps take me away from the stresses of daily life.     I hope Photography will allow a change of career in my life.  My vision is that my photography prints will raise money for charity.  I wish to display them for sale in local coffee shops.  The chance to study Photography is a pleasure and a challenge that I am embracing.
